looks like snowstorm We are listening to player feedback and making it easier to unlock new heroes Overwatch 2 Season 2, La Matera.
Blizzard has previously promised changes to the Overwatch 2 battle pass, but hasn’t specified exactly what changes will happen. With Season 2 kicking off today, game director Aaron Keller shared a different approach to the Battle Pass, specifically related to unlocking this season’s new hero, Ramatra. “After reviewing the data from Season 1, we’re moving Ramattra to Tier 45 of the Battle Pass and making the weekly challenges easier to complete,” Keller said in Twitter (Thanks, PCGamer).
To put that into perspective, if you didn’t pay the $10 for the premium pass in season one, you’ll have to swipe all the way to tier 55 of the free battle pass to unlock Kiriko. This meant completing daily and weekly XP challenges for XP, which for some players took weeks. Tier 45 is still pretty high, but it does make it more accessible to more time-strapped players who don’t opt for the premium battle pass.
If you’re wondering what the next season and its Battle Pass will bring, Blizzard released a trailer last week that shows it all. This season’s look adds a bit of ancient Greece, with Queen Junkers getting a Zeus-themed mythic skin, along with other skins like Cyclops Roadhog, Medusa Widowmaker, Tauren Reinhardt, and more.
It’s not just the Ancient Greece-based skins you can expect, though, as the “Battle of Olympus” mode will be available to play from January 5-19. Blizzard hasn’t shared any details about how this new mode will work, but the new skins clearly offer some sort of hint.
Hello everyone! A quick update on some of the upcoming changes for Season 2. After reviewing the data from Season 1, we moved Ramattra to Battle Pass tier 45 and made more weekly challenges easier to complete. Excited to see all the new content in Season 2 starting tomorrow!
