Game development studio Singularity 6 announces closed and public beta testing Paglia in august.
If you’re not familiar with the game, Paila is a community simulation MMO where you build your home and life, befriend a variety of characters, and experience an evolving narrative with other players.
The game is constantly evolving and features a deep customization system and a neighborhood system that allows you to build your own community. The game combines a community sim with MMO elements, allowing you to collaborate, explore and progress with others. There’s even a social matchmaking system.
Palia features a powerful character customization system where you can buy a plot of land to build your dream home, then customize every little detail with over 1,000 decorative items and customization options at launch.
It also features Neighborhoods, the Palia version of Guilds. These enable you to build a community with others. A variety of collaborative activities can be completed by the community for unique rewards, and the collective achievement is then showcased.
Whether you decide to play alone or with others is up to you as there are various game options f or solo play. Various simulation systems will respond to your movements and constantly change the game. You’ll also meet, befriend, and fall in love with a cast of characters who go about their days and develop their own stories.
The closed beta will start on August 2, and you can sign up on the Palia website. It is open to all players, regardless of whether you have played the game in previous alpha or beta versions.
The public beta will begin on August 10th, and all game progress will continue to be available at launch.
