Surprise: The Paper Mario series is approaching the Switch for the landing approach. Nintendo has just announced a new part, Paper Mario: The Origami King including trailer and an upcoming release date. As the title suggests, the Japanese art of origami will be a central stylistic and playful element. Mario's opponents, but also the surrounding area, as the trailer reveals, can change with a few kinks.
The question that many fans ask is whether the new Paper Mario is a part that continues the realignment of Sticker Star on the 3DS and Color Splash on the Wii U, or is based on the glorious beginnings. No matter what direction, The Origami King will be released on July 17, in a good two months.
Anyone who has been following the rumor mill in the past few weeks and months will not be so surprised by today's announcement. There has been talk of a new Paper Mario several times, but it was unclear whether it would be a new part or a port from Color Splash.
