Paper … Zelda? This would be Link in a paper world

Link, Paper, World, Zelda

Paper Link observes the Master Sword accompanied by a fairy.

In Mario's 30th anniversary year, Nintendo released Super Mario Maker and since then many fans have imagined What would it be like if they transferred that idea to the universe of The Legend of Zelda. Well, imagine that instead will be based on the world of Paper Mario to create a new Link game. Skilled fans have done so, and have created a trailer showing many of the most memorable moments of the Zelda saga with the artistic style and perspective of paper Mario games. Here you can see the animation of this Paper Zelda A Crafted Parody, created by 64 bit.

As you can see, it is not only based on artistic design, but would add the mechanics of turn-based combat typical of the RPG, more similar to the first two games, Paper Mario 64 and Paper Mario La Puerta Milenaria. In the video we can see scenes from many titles in the Zelda saga, such as Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess or Wind Waker, and even one of the trailer that Nintendo showed of the sequel to Breath of the Wild. The style and especially the design of the protagonist seem inspired by the latest remake of The Legend of Zelda Link´s Awakening.
A dungeon editor would be the dream of many, but seeing this successful recreation of the Paper Mario world we have no choice but to imagine and wish a Link game with turn-based combat and crafts that until now no one had asked for.
