This is not an easy journey Vampire: Costume Party-Lineage 2In the development process so far, the game has lost its narrative dominance and creative director, has been postponed time and time again, and deleted after veteran writer and narrative designer Chris Avellone (Chris Avellone) severely sexually harassed After all the content he created for the game was censored, many people across the industry filed charges against him.
Despite this, Paradox remains confident in the project. In the Q&A section of Paradox Interactive’s third quarter interim report (thanks to PC Gamer), an investor asked: “Any news about Bloodline 2 or its developers?”
This is a fair question, really; earlier this year, Paradox announced that the lead developer Hardsuit Labs had withdrawn from the project, and the publisher would bring in different teams to complete the game. We just don’t know who it is.
Paradox CFO Alexander Bricca replied: “The new developers are doing a good job. We are satisfied with the progress of the project, but there is still a long time before we start talking about the release date.”
Don’t expect the game to be shown (or released) soon. At least this silent, secretive process is deliberately formulated to give developers time and energy to focus on creating games.
“We prefer to give studios a situation where they can fully focus on game development,” Brica continued, “without having to deal with fans who have contact with them. Therefore, we have not revealed the name of the studio so far. I am very happy to be able to maintain this state for a period of time.”
Last time we heard that Vampire: Fancy Dress Party-Lineage 2 is being developed for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
