With Path of Exile, Diablo and Actin RPG fans have been getting a real alternative on the PC and later on consoles since 2013. As is known, this is continued with Path of Exile 2, but despite development work on the sequel, the first part is also noticeably provided with fresh content.

Path of Exile has earned a good reputation in the action role-playing game genre. Meanwhile, the creators are already working on the successor Path of Exile 2, but until the game is released, the gamers of the first part are by no means left out in the rain. In a post in the official forum, the plans for the new year 2020 have now been communicated – and they are quite impressive.
There, Grinding Gear Games states that in 2020 you actually want to publish no fewer than four (!) New extensions to Path of Exile, which will follow the usual quarterly rhythm. These should have the version numbers 3.10.0 to 3.13.0 and the first add-on is expected to be announced at the end of February.
Compared to the previous year, the actual releases of the add-ons could vary by a week or two, which is due to the work on various events. At the same time, you want to make sure that the real add-ons are put through their paces before you publish them.
In addition to the add-ons, we are still working on the completion of Path of Exile 2 aka the major new version 4.0.0; This will also bring new content with it that was not yet to be seen at the last ExileCon. It is expected that further details and impressions will be announced in the middle of the year, with explicit mention even of E3. The first publicly playable version is not expected until the end of 2020 at the earliest.
The console team will be expanded further in 2020 so that features in these implementations are to be introduced more quickly. Based on the feedback from ExileCon, the development team also continues to work on the mobile version. In short: It will be a busy New Year for Grinding Gear Games!
