Payday 3: Second of the anniversary update in October

Part 1 of the anniversary update for the flopped Payday 3 is already available, the second part will now be delivered soon. The now confirmed release date is still in October.

Starbreeze continues to try to make the Payday 3 experience better and to get the many franchise fans excited about the latest installment. Part 2 of the big anniversary update should now help with this, after the first part was already published. Part 2 opens in October.

As announced today, the free content update for the co-op shooter will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC from October 30, 2024. Then you will get new content as well as some features and improvements requested by the community.

Specifically, the Anniversary Update Part 2 will bring the following new features:

Server-Browser: The highly sought-after server browser is back. Players can choose freely with or without filters and jump straight into the action with the perfect crew.

Cross-platform VoIP and text chat: Communication is the key to any successful robbery. Whether the team’s panicked screams, precise coordination or a heroic rescue – every nuance is transmitted.

UI-Update: Payday 3 now offers a revamped user interface that optimally complements last year’s new content and features.

Lobby-Kick: The lobby can be managed flexibly to maintain control over team composition during the heist.

Twitch-Drops: Watching Payday 3 streams on Twitch can unlock free in-game cosmetics.

New masks: There is a spooky new mask for the Halloween event and there are also two new masks to choose from every week.

The new Year 1 Edition of the co-op shooter will also be released. This new version is available free of charge for owners of the Gold Edition, but can also be purchased separately for all platforms. This includes the base game, the Year 1 Pass including all four DLC packages (Syntax Error, Boys in Blue, Houston Breakout, Fear & Greed) and the following additional content:
