Let's be honest: the story of Star Wars is not repeated too briefly. Sometimes the Sith massacre all Jedi, then the Jedi again triumph over the Sith. Last weekend, new Jedi Academy players were able to experience firsthand how the losing sides are doing.
With controller against mouse and keyboard
The Star Wars Jedi Knight game is since March 26, 2020 for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch available and caused a small revival of the then celebrated multiplayer mode from Jedi Academy.
However, newcomers to consoles could only partially share the enthusiasm for the exciting multiplayer battles after PC players took over the servers from PS4 and Switch and a massacre in the best Order 66 manner organized: The controller newcomers had no chance against veterans armed with mouse and keyboard.

The Switch port of Jedi Academy seems to be running on P2P PC servers. Poor unsuspecting buyers are playing on servers with PC players who are totally wrecking matches and cheating. This is a disaster.

Console players are demanding that the IP addresses be hidden
Of course, this causes a lot of frustration among console players, who were literally butchered by the experienced PC Jedi or Sith. That's why the owners of the new PS4 and Switch versions are asking the developer that the IP addresses of the console servers will be hidden in the future.
Currently, Jedi Academy players on PC still have the option of using a trick on the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch servers to land. This works very simply by entering the IP address of the respective console server in the settings on the PC.
And while some players take advantage of this opportunity to play with new friends who venture into Jedi Academy for the first time, followers of the Dark Side of the Force are specifically chasing the youngsters.
I think we're all rather you patch out the IP address being displayed, change the IPs, and do all you can from PC players from entering the servers. Please look into it. It's ruining the experience for the new console players.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy was released for PC in 2003 and is still very popular among Star Wars fans. And even if the number of players had decreased at least until the PS4 and switch release, gambled 2019 still up to 250 players at the same time the then popular multiplayer mode on PC.
