With the launch of Iceborne on the PC, Monster Hunter World has reached a new milestone.
Monster Hunter WorldFor Capcom, Iceborne's expansion has been successful. Iceborne has now sent 4 million copies, including digital units, on all platforms.
This is an increase from October's 2.8 million Capcom. Although Capcom did not provide a specific number for the PC, the PC version may be the main cause of this difference.
Unsurprisingly, Iceborne's PC release also boosted overall sales of the main game. Monster Hunter World has shipped more than 15 million units worldwide, including digital copies, on all platforms. One million more than in October.
Today, "Monster Hunter World" is Capcom's top-selling single-player game and the first game to break the 15 million mark.
Iceborne's PC release was not completely flawless, reports on saved files were removed, and the patch seemed to introduce some performance issues. Capcom is currently investigating these reports.
