Mortal Kombat 1’s second guest character is coming soon, none other than the Peacemaker from Suicide Squad (2021) and the TV series of the same name, Max, complete with John Cena’s iconic voice.
The beloved DC character debuted after “The Mighty One” in “Invincible” and before “The Boys.” What’s more, he’s joined by his feathered companion Iggy and otherworldly MK character Janet Cage. The new DLC pack (included in the premium version of the game) will be released on February 28 Early Access and full release on March 6th, less than a week away from playing air guitar on the bloody remains of our enemies!

The fun gameplay trailer has the Peacemaker pulling off all the deadly tricks and using all the gadgets you’d expect from him, and then some. In the film he also tries to flirt with the monster-faced Milena before beating her and ejaculating. You know, the usual Mortal Kombat showdown.
The preview is also another reminder of NetherRealm’s attention to detail in these collaborations, as many of the details in the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker series are part of the characters’ movements, lines, and little quirks. Hell, he even had an intro on set with the entire main cast dancing to the theme song. Will Wig Wam’s “Do Ya Wanna Taste It” be included in the final version? God, I sure hope so.
Mortal Kombat 1 isn’t just featuring guest characters as part of its post-launch content plan, as fan-favorite veterans like Quan Chi have made their way into the fighting video game’s reboot, which is a well-crafted, But it’s also a little too much. Bare bones.
