People Can Fly took over the Phosphor Games development team and established a new subsidiary called People Can Fly Chicago.

Founded in 2009, Phosphor Games is a medium-sized studio responsible for “The Brookhaven Experiment”, “Reborn Hero: Gemini” and the Nether.

The Polish studio People Can Fly was founded in 2002 and operates in Warsaw, Rzeszow, Lodz, New York, Newcastle and Montreal. The studio is known for games such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm and the recently released Outriders.

Through the new acquisition, the number of employees in the studio now exceeds 320 worldwide.

People Can Fly is currently working on two AAA programs. One of them is the new game from Square Enix, and the recently announced Take-Two Interactive’s original action-adventure game.
