If you fill Sam Porter Bridges and draw Monster out of the canteen, build a sealed bunker to filter out all interference, and then invest in a new set of bionic eyes, you only need to spend a whole week to burn a single play Persona 5. If you want to sleep, please for two weeks.
When the basic game is already working part-time, role 5 But longer, Seems not the most compelling concept. But with Persona 5 RoyalIt's not that the new story beat turns it into a definitive version of Phantom Thief Adventures, but new items and quality of life features eliminate the rough edges of this cracked supernew world mystery.
Get up there
Character 5 is excellent. The phantom thief uses the power of the combat character to change the character of the bad guy by stealing treasure (the person's representative of twisted desires) from his spiritual palace in the dark alternative dimension "Yuanjie".
From the first sound of the anime introduction bass, it is clear that other games do not have the same urban style and ease. It's like an incarnation of a high school daydream, you can move to Japan, explore new cities, and take an adventure, but it's not perfect.
Most of the problems I encountered in Persona 5 were related to the more tedious elements in the dungeon and the repeated guessing game of the combat system.
The story of Persona 5 is divided into days, and you can only complete a certain number of operations before the clock advances. This means that you have to squeeze in to explore Tokyo for a limited time, make friends, make items and trawl the dungeon, so you often have to choose brutally.
This is annoying when the story dungeon runs out of energy because it needs to run out of SP. Fortunately, this new version eliminates this annoyance by embellishing a new item called "Will Seeds" around the dungeon.
They are limited hidden items, you can find a certain number of items in each palace and they will restore your SP. Although the improvement is small, this seems to be a conscious effort by Atlus to help players pass through the dungeon more easily without making it easier.
In addition, there is a simplified Thief Assist feature, which can heal your party faster without having to browse through multiple menus-things like that can add a lot of downtime during long runs.
It's these changes, plus small adjustments like Morgana, that give you better tips to collect new characters in your conversations with monsters, which makes Persona 5 Royal a real improvement.
Kichijoji by night
I understand that these updates are not exciting. The real headline contenders for Persona 5 Royal are the new character Kasumi, and the extra area Kichijoji, which you can visit during your free time.
Kasumi was introduced relatively early in the story and as a new mysterious social link. From our observations, her story is as fascinating as the others, but in the grand scheme of the wider game, it's still just one of more than 20 social links that grab your attention-especially if this is your first Play games.
As for Kichijoji, like Kasumi, it is a small part of a larger whole, not something that completely reshapes the way you play. It's a bit like Shinjuku. There are several unique shops for you to sell, these new shops sell new gifts to your confidant, and some unique foods you must visit at certain times of the day to attract them.
Soon, you will encounter new assignments from school friends Mishima, but the darts hall is the main attraction. This is a unique event where you can compete in a darts competition with another phantom thief. Playing together can enhance teamwork and improve your ability to pass with that character. Normally, when one of your teams gets a critical hit, they get an extra round. The baton pass lets you transfer characters to another character.
I have always felt that Baton Pass is underutilized, so I welcome a way to enhance it. Once again, this gives you more motivation to inspire chained attacks with multiple team members, making Persona 5's battle feel smoother.
Under the mask
When you invest so much time in the game, you want it to be the smoothest experience. You don't want to tick your menu during your working hours, you don't want to fight with clumsy systems, and you absolutely don't want to continue to run into artificial blocks to cover up already huge runtimes.
From the adjustments we've seen so far in Persona 5 Royal, Atlus is in the right place to sort out some aspects of the base game. If these adjustments can help push the tedious work of the dungeon and add some story tidbits to repeat offenders, then this is indeed an essential upgrade. No monster energy or bionic eyeballs required.
