Year after year, Konami sends the PES series into the race against its big competitor FIFA – again in 2021. Surprisingly, before autumn you can get your hands on PES 2022 yourself. Konami made a demo available without much notice.
Anyone interested in the new PES 2022 can now collect some surprising first impressions. Konami today released a playable demo in the form of an “Online Performance Test”. You won’t find this under PES 2022, but under the name “New Football Game”. PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One are supported as platforms, where you can secure the good piece via the corresponding store under the above name.
On the website for the beta it is stated by the developers that the purpose of the demo is to “evaluate the quality of the online matchmaking and the connection to the servers”. At the same time, there is a note that game mechanics, balancing, animations and graphics are still in development and will therefore change and improve until the official launch of the full version.
The trial version includes the teams Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juvetuns Turin and FC Barcelona. It is planned that this trial version can be played until July 8th.
The choice of name is probably due to the fact that the official announcement of the game is still pending. This was scheduled for July 21, 2021.
Konami is currently working on PES 2022, which will be released next year for the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Here comes the first teaser.
