Xbox boss Phil Spencer believes that the changes between current and next-generation games may be as huge as the transition from 2D to 3D.
Spencer, who has been leading the Xbox team since 2014, made this comment in response to a player on Twitter.
Hello there @ XboxP3. With the arrival of XSX, which technologies do you think can achieve such amazing progress? We have been hearing information about ray tracing for several months, and recently information about photogrammetry has been heard. Will this be a new course?
Thank you for your answer Phil💚

"With the arrival of XSX, which technologies do you think can achieve such amazing progress?" The fan asked. "We have been hearing about ray tracing for several months, and recently information about photogrammetry has been heard. Will this be a new course?"
Spencer's reply was posted soon, you can view it in full below.
The RT on the console is great. I am very focused on what we do around Dynamic Delay Input (DLI). In my opinion, considering the CPU upgrade, DLI, memory bandwidth and SSD, this generation of next-generation games will experience a huge change from 2D to 3D.

Yesterday, the plan was reviewed to continue sharing through the release. The team is doing excellent work and is adapting. I have never been excited about the Xbox plan. We have heard of you and you want transparency / authenticity. We plan to continue to show in this way, the next step is not to wait too much (game)
