Halo infinite Apparently missing from recent xbox Show, so Xbox head Phil Spencer clarified why.
It’s safe to say that Halo has fallen out of favor slightly in recent years, and Halo Infinite, a game that has struggled since launch, has been worse. But, nonetheless, it’s an Xbox mainstay, so it’s a little odd that there isn’t even a small reminder of the game’s existence — not even a mention of the fact that season 4 will officially launch next week. Now, in an interview with The Guardian, Spencer has shared his thoughts on why it wasn’t there, noting that Xbox now has more games to show.

“I wouldn’t say Halo isn’t that important, but we’re over 20 studios now,” Spencer said. “I’d go back to the years when there were basically four games — Fable, Forza, Halo, Gears of War, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. We’ve got a lot more games now.” Indeed, the recent reveal actually showed it The fruit of all the studios acquired over the past few years, even if not all of them were out this year.
“We have disclosed 343 leadership changes [Industries]’ Spencer continued. ‘You can see that at some of the social events [the team have] It’s been done for several seasons, but I don’t want to force them to talk about their long-term vision until they’re ready. I think you’re going to see some really cool stuff coming out. ”
It’s totally understandable that 343 Industries didn’t want to show something that wasn’t ready yet, but then again – a few days ago, and about a week after the show, the trailer for Halo Infinite season 4 was released. It’s an odd choice to ignore one of Xbox’s biggest games. It begs the question of whether we are witnessing the demise of the Halo franchise.
