Hi everyone, as I write this it’s Friday and a new music video featuring Pikachu has arrived in our lives. In case you were wondering, it sees him being abducted by a spaceship piloted by a DJ in a big hat, which is hilarious.
Yes, I’m serious, The Pokemon Company has officially acknowledged this happening – probably just to make sure the last few people still trying don’t ask it to say something about Palworld other than just ” We are investigating it”. Now, get ready, because I’m not sure you’re ready for all the implications the story this video tells may have.

First off, the song itself is called “Never Be Lonely” and is performed by DJ and songwriter Jax Jones alongside singer Zoe Wees. Pokemon veterans may be familiar with the former name, as he’s one of the participating artists on the 2021 album to commemorate Pokemon’s twenty-fifth anniversary.
He’s also the guy with the big hat you read in the title, but honestly, that’s the most mundane aspect of this new video of his. You see, the story takes place in “Future World,” where Jones and Weiss are performing on a stadium-shaped spaceship. Pikachu is sleeping rough in a park on Earth – I don’t know why, maybe because Ash left him after a fight and took all the other Pokémon with him, and he’s in trouble – when he behaves like a typical UFO When being kidnapped by a spaceship.
Once he’s illuminated, the yellow lad joins Jones and Weiss on stage. Not at all intimidated by the situation, he just started dancing with the pair and their dancers, maybe just because he thought they wouldn’t investigate him if he managed to blend in and imitate their culture.
Then, just as the song reaches its end, he launches into a cheeky lighting attack that looks like it should blow every fuse in the stadium, but it doesn’t – lest you forget – this is a music video, not reality Life. In case you’re wondering, Pikachu wasn’t sent back to Earth, which means this was basically a kidnapping case that’s probably still ongoing.
“Collaborating with Zoe Wees and Pikachu is a dream come true for me,” Jones said of the video. “‘Never Be Lonely’ is a sonic journey into the heart of music and friendship, and having Pikachu join us is something I It’s an honor to be on this adventure.”
Yes, I answered, but when are you going to send this poor creature back to his home planet? Alas, the man in the hat would never answer me, even if I gave his earworm track a shallow seven.
Sadly, you’ll have to wait longer than originally planned to watch Pikachu and his companions in Pokémon Horizons via Netflix, which will be released in March. Oh and here are some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet codes.
