The “Plague Tale: Innocence” of Xbox Series X/S is being enhanced, and the optimization will be launched in July.
Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive announced, Plague Tale: Innocence It will land on Xbox Series X/S on July 6.
This enhanced version will provide 4K UHD (only for Xbox Series X), 60 FPS and 3D audio support. Xbox One users of the game can upgrade for free.
The enhanced PS5 version is also expected to be launched in July. The cloud version of the game will also be available on Nintendo Switch.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is an action-adventure survival horror stealth game set in 1348, focusing on Amicia and her brother Hugo, who has been sick for most of her life. In the game, the duo is chased by the French Inquisition forces. They must fight against hordes of rats that are spreading the black plague and devouring everything they pass by.
As if the rats and the Inquisition were not bad enough, there were also hostile villagers who blamed the plague on Hugo and tried to kill him. The content of the story is much more than that, but we don’t want to spoil you.
Asobo’s game sequel “Plague Tale: Requiem” was announced during the 2021 E3 Xbox Game Show. In it, you will follow your brothers and sisters on new missions as they try to survive in a cold world because the terrible curse is hunting them down.
The sequel has no release date and will be available on PC, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch via the cloud.
