It was an open secret, and now it is official. Platinum Games has initiated a crowfunding campaign through the platform Kickstarter To trow The Wonderful 101: Remastered on Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation 4. A version for Xbox One is not finished, as the developer mentions that «the success of the campaign will allow remastering for additional platforms«.
The project began with a goal of $ 50,000 to get to Nintendo Switch, something that has been achieved in just a few minutes. The version of PC, via Steam, required $ 250,000, goal also reached. That of Playstation 4 requires $ 500,000, a sum that at the time of writing this text is about to be achieved. At the moment it is unknown what more goals can be unlocked, although everything indicates that the financing campaign will be a success until it ends within 31 days.
Those who want to contribute to the launch of The Wonderful 101: Remastered can do so in several ways. The cheapest is providing some 33 euros, thus ensuring a digital copy of the title, although they do provide 37 euros a physical copy is secured. As usual, the more you contribute to the campaign, the more incentives are offered. A striking option is to provide more than 92 euros, because it ensures the opportunity to request to own Hideki Kamiya, director of the work, which blocks you from Twitter, something striking but related to his fame on the social network.
For those who do not know, The Wonderful 101 is a action game released exclusively for Wii U in 2013. Its protagonist is Wonder-Red, although it is possible to recruit a large number of expert heroes to form a team. The player is considered the 101st hero, being able to transform desperate citizens into powerful heroes to increase their numbers. Defeating enemies thanks to numerical superiority is one of the keys to the game, because the larger the army, the more powerful the attacks.
With the announcement of The Wonderful 101, four important related news from the developer Platinum Games has begun, as it has anticipated hours before.
