Play for free: Included: Mafia 3, Amnesia, Assassin's Creed 2

It starts early this week. As of today, some titles are already playable for free, and strategy fans in particular can currently enjoy this.

Like the last few weeks, you will of course get an overview of the current free promotions and free play days this week. Have a look every now and then, because of course we will update the message as soon as we discover something new!

Assassin's Creed 2, Rayman Legends, Child of Light (PC)

Ubisoft already offered all three games for free in April, now you have one last chance to get Assassins's Creed 2, Child of Light and Rayman Legends in one go. Until 5 May at 8 p.m. you can still download each of the three PC versions for free on Uplay and add them to your library forever.

Mafia 3 (PC)

Until May 7th you can still have fun on Steam with Mafia 3. As long as the full version of the gangster game is available there for free. If you still don't have enough, you can also buy the game until May 7 for a mere 9.99 euros as part of a steam sale. The progress from the free version will of course be adopted.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC) / Crashlands (PC)

There is also something to play for free in the Epic Games Store. Starting April 30th, you can wear yourself out in the survival horror game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. There is also the crafting ARPG Crashlands.

Splatoon 2 (switch)

A free special demo of Splatoon 2 is available from Thursday, April 30 at 12:00 p.m. to Wednesday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m. During the seven-day event, players of the special demo, together with other Splatoon 2 owners from all over the world, can plunge into 4-on-4 fighting over the Internet. You can also try out the Rangkampf and Salmon Run game modes. If you do not have a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use the online functions, you can also activate a free seven-day trial version of Nintendo Switch Online.

PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment offers the PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 for a limited time as a free download on all platforms. The offer is valid from April 24, 2020 until May 10, 2020 at 7 p.m. for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Ubisoft announced that a free trial for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, is now available. The demo allows players to play The Division 2 through Level 8 with a maximum playing time of 8 hours. Players wishing to purchase the game after completing the trial can apply their progress.

Knack 2 + Journey (PS4)

Sony is also giving away some games under the motto "Play at home". From April 16 to May 6, 2020 you can download Knack 2 and the atmospherically valuable Journey for free in Germany. Sony is also establishing a fund to help smaller, independent gaming studios overcome current financial difficulties.

Xbox Live – Games With Gold

On Xbox One there will be the racing game V-Rally 4 from May 1st to 31st, in which you can compete in rallycross, drifts, buggies and ascents. More than 50 vehicles are available and can be configured. From May 16 to June 15, Xbox One Warhammer 40,000 will follow: Inquisitor – Martyr; Warhammer fans will also get their money's worth.

And on Xbox 360 (as well as Xbox One)? From May 1st to May 15th, Sensible World of Soccer will be the more contemporary rebirth of the football classic of earlier days. In the second half of the month from May 16 to 31, Overlord II follows, which also leads chaotic Minion armies to fight the Empire.

PlayStation Plus

An absolute blockbuster like Uncharted is not included this time, but the May line-up is definitely two well-known representatives who are quite popular. First of all, this includes the PS4 Edition of Cities: Skylines. In the urban planning simulation you can build and manage the ultimate metropolis. In addition to the building strategy game, there is also a title that will surely make one or two hearts beat faster among simulation fans, namely the Farming Simulator 19.

Google Stadia

Anyone who registers via stadia.com with immediate effect can test Stadia Pro for two months free of charge and thus also get immediate access to nine games included in the Stadia Pro subscription, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection and Thumper. Additional titles can be purchased at any time in the store, which players can still access if the Stadia Pro subscription is canceled. All players who are already Stadia Pro subscribers will not be charged for the next two months.
