Play for free: Just Cause 4, Assassin's Creed and more

Easter is over, but the Corona crisis is unfortunately not. In order to pass the time at home, there are again a lot of free offers this week that you shouldn't miss.

Like the last few weeks, you will of course get an overview of the current free promotions and free play days this week. Have a look every now and then, because of course we will update the message as soon as we discover something new!

Master of Orion (PC)

To enjoy the iconic 4X strategy masterpiece, players in World of Tanks simply have to successfully complete a simple battle mission in random battles (including large battles) between April 9th and 23rd. As soon as this goal is reached, the single-player experience of Master of Orion will be available for download in the Wargaming.net Game Center (Master of Orion – test on games world).

Assassin's Creed II (PC)

Apparently Ubisoft will offer a real highlight for free from April 14th. Like the renowned analyst Daniel Ahmad, citing the German bargain portal myDealz.de reports, Ubisoft will offer Assassin's Creed II for PC free of charge tomorrow, April 14th. The offer can therefore be used via the in-house PC game service Uplay. We stay tuned and of course immediately note whether this is confirmed (Assassin's Creed II – test on games world).

Just Cause 4 (PC)

The Epic Games Store also has a lot of fun and brings the weird action spectacle Just Cause 4 to the store for free, from April 16 to 23. So here, too, you have to access and continue to inflate your game library. Just right for open-world action fans. In addition, the visual novella Wheels of Aurelia comes into the store.

Xbox Live – Games With Gold

As usual, you can also play some free games on Xbox One, provided you have Xbox Live Gold. In April there are four titles available, namely the racing simulation Project CARS 2 (until April 30th) and Fable Anniversary (until April 15th). Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle and Toybox Turbos will follow from April 16-30.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas (Xbox One)

Xbox players can now play the digital edition of Starlink: Battle for Atlas on the console for free until April 22. If players purchase the title after the free phase, they will keep progress. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an open world space saga that includes seven different planets that players can explore freely. They become interstellar pilots and have to free the Atlas star system from Grax and the Forgotten Legion (Starlink: Battle for Atlas – test on games world).

PlayStation Plus

As of April 7th, PlayStation Plus owners will be able to download the new free games for the current month. With it the great finale of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the excellent rally simulation DiRT Rally 2.0.

Google Stadia

Anyone who registers via stadia.com with immediate effect can test Stadia Pro for two months free of charge and thus also get immediate access to nine games included in the Stadia Pro subscription, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection and Thumper. Additional titles can be purchased at any time in the store, which players can still access if the Stadia Pro subscription is canceled. All players who are already Stadia Pro subscribers will not be charged for the next two months.
