We already knew this new game, set in the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese dynastic history, would be demoed “in the near future”, but thanks to the Tokyo Game Show, we can all enjoy it now!
However, you need to be fast: the test won’t last long (most likely, since you need to be always online to enjoy it). Don’t worry if you don’t have an active Xbox Live or PS+ membership, though; the multiplayer options in this demo don’t require a paid membership to every publisher’s online service on every platform.
Wolong: Fallen Kingdom demo will be available from Friday, September 16, 2022 exist 12 noon BST until Monday, September 26, 2022 exist 8am BST.
The action-packed demo includes a game level (much like the previous Nioh alpha test) that gives us all a glimpse into the dark Three Kingdoms world Wolong calls home.
A press release from Koei Tecmo promises that anyone who completes the demo will receive a special item, the “Wolong Helmet,” which you’ll be able to equip and use in the main game, which launches in early 2023.
