In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 there is a very simple way to unlock skins and other rewards for multiplayer and Warzone 2: All you have to do is fight your way through the story campaign. So you not only earn a few operators, but also a weapon blueprint and XP tokens.

To get multiplayer fans excited about the campaign, Infinity Ward wants to lure them into singleplayer with a few exclusive rewards. This isn’t necessarily anything new, players were able to earn a handful of multiplayer goodies back in 2019’s Modern Warfare storyline.
What exactly you can now unlock in the course of the story campaign for the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 can be found in the following list:

You can earn a total of 18 rewards in the Modern Warfare 2 story campaign for multiplayer and Warzone 2.
This is how you unlock the skins, XP tokens and more
You switch through the different rewards for the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 free to complete certain missions. For example, if you have your sights set on a selected skin, you don’t necessarily have to play through the entire story campaign if you don’t feel like it.
However, there is also an exclusive reward for completing the single player: the weapon blueprint Union Guard
is only available if you have really completed all the levels.
How many hours do I need for the campaign? Developer Infinity Ward has not officially commented on this at the current time. In view of previous CoDs and also the direct predecessor to Modern Warfare 2, fans can probably expect a playing time of around six to eight hours. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, 2022 for PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. If you pre-order the game, you can start the single-player campaign a week earlier. The official date for this was October 20th, in Europey the date will probably be October 21st.
By the way, you get access to the story of Modern Warfare 2 regardless of which version you pre-ordered – i.e. Standard or Vault Edition. Of course, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes again with an extensive multiplayer mode. We have already summarized for you everything that we have been able to find out about the maps and weapons so far. The new DMZ mode, which is playfully based on Escape from Tarkov or Hunt: Showdown, should be particularly exciting:

Incidentally, the DMZ mode will not start until November 16, 2022 – and then together with Warzone 2. This is a real sequel to the Battle Royale, fans cannot transfer old content from the predecessor: what operator, blueprints and weapon So when it comes to skins, you have to start from scratch.
