The PlayStation 5 is currently on everyone's lips – also considering a possible presentation in February. No wonder that one leak chases the next. After there was plenty of speculation about the date, price and launch line-up yesterday, the focus is now on the possible user interface of the next-gen console.

Already in the course of the past year 2019, pictures and concepts of the dev kit of the PlayStation 5 had repeatedly appeared on the net, which ultimately turned out to be true. The dev kit will ultimately have little to do with the final design of the next-gen console from Sony, but the user interface that is used there could ultimately at least largely be implemented in this way.
Therefore, the new leak around the PS5 is definitely of interest, because via reddit a photo has now appeared, which should show the interface of the PS5 dev kit in action. If this picture turns out to be real, this is now the first photo of the user interface.
If you take a look at the picture above, you will clearly recognize the established interface of the PS4; this was apparently revised to a small extent on the PS5. But is the UI actually used in the finished console version? Further revisions are not unlikely, but in the past the user interfaces used on Sony's dev kits turned out to be surprisingly close to the final reality. There were already corresponding leaks for the PS4, which showed a dev kit UI, which was actually implemented in almost the same form in the end.
So if you are really happy with the PS4 interface, you will probably not have to change too much on the PS5. Anyone expecting deeper changes to the UI should be disappointed at the moment given today's speculation about the dev kit. Clarity should also prevail in February, also with regard to the interface, when Sony should really officially present the PS5.
