While Microsoft is already relatively frisky when it comes to the new generation of consoles, somehow Sony is still not quite on the hoof. Now there are rumors of a presentation in June.

Microsoft is currently the more active of the two manufacturers. Both console and controller were introduced and since yesterday we have also known a bit about upcoming third-party titles for the Xbox Series X, although the stream announced loudly as a gameplay presentation turned out to be just a weak trailer collection – at least with some Announcements.
Sony, on the other hand, pretty much keeps your feet still. We only know a few technical data about the PS5 itself, have a look at the PS5 controller, but we don't know what the PS5 looks like or which titles await us. That could change soon, however, because the well-known game journalist Jason Schreier (formerly Kotaku, now Bloomberg) claims to have learned that a presentation is planned for early / mid June, although it is not yet clear what exactly will be shown there.
However, whether and when Sony really shows something turns out to be confusing. After the OPM recently announced loudly that it would publish information on games and gameplay in the upcoming issue, it was initially assumed that an event for the upcoming PS5 games would already take place in May. In the meantime, only Sony looks through the scheduling itself, but so far it has not been possible to look at the cards. In any case, we hope for a concrete announcement soon.
