According to a leaker who has been reliable in the past, the launch date for the PS5 Pro has been set – and a State of Play is also on the way! There will even be a “world premiere” at this.
It is an open secret that the PlayStation 5 Pro will be presented in the coming weeks – after all, the more powerful console variant from Sony should be available in time for the Christmas season. To date, however, the company has not yet made a firm decision as to when the new hardware will be presented, but according to a leaker who has been quite reliable in the past, this should be decided in the meantime.
If this really happens, then the wait until the PS5 Pro is introduced won’t be long: According to insider Lunatic Ignus and his sources, it should be next week, either on Tuesday, September 10th or Wednesday, September 11th. We should find out more about the PS5 Pro then.
According to him, there will also be a big new PlayStation State of Play later in September. The latest edition of the video format is planned for September 19 or 20 and will then focus on upcoming first-party titles from Sony – probably with concrete information on how they will benefit from the more powerful PS5 Pro. Better still: This State of Play should potentially also have a “world premiere” in store for you, so there may be a major new game announcement from Sony.
Regarding this world premiere, however, the insider and leaker himself adds a caveat that it could possibly skip the State of Play. In general, however, an official confirmation is still pending for all of this, so treat the information with the necessary caution for now, even if Lunatic Igus has been reliable in the past – he too can potentially be wrong at times.
Most recently, the design of the PS5 Pro was leaked in advance by the also very reliable leaker billbil-kun.
