Destroy All Stars, Multiplayer destructive derby PS5 Exclusive is to add online robots to the game to help players who cannot find enough opponents in the game.
Lucid Games made an announcement on the game’s official Reddit page, announcing the new plan. Developers have been using Reddit to keep in touch with the game’s player base and have provided new tips for future plans in the development blog update.
Lucid Games explained: “Globally, there is a Destruction AllStars-scale community. We do have peak and low-level player activity hours.” “We want to ensure that as many real players as possible participate in the game, but if you are in line Without X players, the AI robot will replace the rest.”
The developer went on to say that fans of the game’s blitz mode shouldn’t worry about AI ruining the experience: Blitz, as a competitive mode, “will never show up with Bots.”
Usually, when we see games adding robots to online lobbying, it may mean that there are not enough players to maintain a stable player pool and continue to run. “Sober Games” hints that this is not necessarily the case for Destruction AllStars. On the contrary, “the peak time of the game is UTC 4 pm-10pm on weekdays, and UTC 2 pm-1am on weekends”, when players often find enough players to pick up teammates and opponents.
Adding this feature shortly after launch may not be encouraging, but the developers promised that Destruction AllStars plans to release at least one year of post-launch content at the beginning of the launch.
“Star of Destruction” was one of the free games on PlayStation Plus in February. Our own Tom Orry said that the game can bring immediate excitement, but it is seriously lacking in content.
