Chronic PlayStation continues to lose its producers …
Teruyuki Toriyama announced his resignation from Sony’s Japanese studios on Twitter in late December. A choice without chance? Fkz explains everything in today’s newspaper.
A new producer from Sony leaves. After Keiichiro Toyama, it was Teruyuki Toriyama who announced his departure from the Japanese office of the studio. Fkz draws the portrait of the producer: He is known to be behind two big titles from FromSoftware: Bloodborne, Karton on PlayStation 4 and Demon’s Souls Remake, which has established itself as the real launch title for the PS5.
The departure too much?
Fkz says Teruyuki Toriyama spread the word on Twitter.
I will be leaving Sony Interactive Entertainment WorldWide Studio Japan in late December. Thank you to everyone who has supported the studio so far. I will always try to create new licenses in my new company. So I still ask for your continued support
According to him, Toriyama’s initiative could correlate with the departure of Keiichiro Toyama (Silent Hill). The latter left the Sony studios that summer to develop his own bokeh game. However, nothing has been formalized and it is all conjecture (and coincidence?).
