There are regular new games on PlayStation Plus, but Sony’s games subscription is also suffering from a steady decline. In October, 10 games will be leaving the offer.
Sony has confirmed that at least 10 games will be leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra gaming subscription next October. The corresponding titles can now be found in the “Last Chance to Play” section; if you still want to play one of these, you should hurry up. The departures are usually announced almost exactly a month in advance – so that’s your window of opportunity.
While a total of 16 games disappeared from the range in September, the bloodletting in October is somewhat smaller. However, there are some well-known titles among the departures, including several Dragon Quest games, Gotham Knights and The Evil Within. Also interesting: LittleBigPlanet 3, a first-party title from Sony, is also affected.
All known departures from PS Plus in October at a glance:
- Dragon Quest Builders
- Dragon Quest Builders 2
- Dragon Quest Heroes
- Dragon Quest Heroes 2
- Dragon Quest XI S
- Gotham Knights
- Little Big Planet 3
- The Evil Within
- Toukiden Kiwami
- Ultra Street Fighter IV
In return, there will be fresh new games in October; an announcement is expected around the middle of the new month. You can read more about the September new additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium in our corresponding news report.
