Microsoft made the announcement this time, Sony is now following suit. All PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers can get three games for free in June – and we’ll tell you which ones they are!
While Microsoft is again letting two less well-known titles jump for free in June via Xbox Games with Gold, Sony, as in the past few months, is again bringing out somewhat heavier artillery with PlayStation Plus Essential. Anyone who has subscribed to the basic level of Sony’s online service can once again look forward to three titles that are also noticeably better known.
Matching the upcoming NBA Finals, you can look forward to the current offshoot NBA 2K23 of the successful basketball sports series from 2K on PS4 and PS5. The franchise has been a genre reference for many years and one of the best sports games out there. If you missed this one, you can now catch up – including NBA and WNBA rosters, historical teams, MyCareer and MyTeam modes, and more.
Also quite a well-known title is game number 2, which is Jurassic World Evolution 2. Here you can build your own dinosaur park. It is the sequel to Frontier’s management sim, originally released in 2018. The sequel, on the other hand, has a number of new features, four game modes, a larger number of prehistoric dinosaurs and a narrative set specifically based on the events in the movie “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”.
Rounding out June’s PlayStation trio is Trek to Yomi, an action-adventure that follows Hiroki during his fall against the evil forces. He then returns to fulfill his promise to protect the world against those same forces.
All three games are available starting June 6th in the new week and can then be redeemed permanently until July 3rd. Until then, you still have the opportunity to secure the free games from the May line-up.
