After Microsoft announced yesterday, Sony followed suit today and has now announced the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in the new month of May.
Adam Michel, Senior Manager of Game Services Content at Sony Interactive Entertainment, reserved the right to announce the new game line-up on PlayStation Plus in May via PlayStation Blog. From May 4, 2021, you will again be able to secure a total of three titles, two of them for the PS4 and one for the new PS5 console.
The PS5 title is Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last. In the action-packed Racer you can smash tons of metal and let off steam. The game comes from the FlatOut developers and delivers numerous collisions during the course of the race. In various challenge modes you can get behind the wheel of harvesting machines, tricycles and more – and of course a multiplayer part is also on board.
It gets a whole lot more famous on the PlayStation 4, because shooter fans get their money’s worth here. They can look forward to the full version of Battlefield V from EA. The title returns to World War II and also offers a Grand Operations mode, a co-op mode with Combined Arms and a classic multiplayer mode.
The line-up is rounded off by Stranded Deep for PS4. Here you land after a mysterious plane crash in the vastness of the Pacific Ocean and fight for survival alone. You can explore the world both underwater and on land, collect material to make tools, weapons and shelters, and deal with dangerous creatures and treacherous elements.
All three titles will be available until Monday, May 31st; until then you can add them to your game library.
