Sony will host its next PlayStation presentation, game statethis week, February 23.
Thursday’s broadcast will begin at 1pm PT, 4pm ET, 9pm UK and will last approximately 45 minutes.
The company says it’s looking forward to seeing games from third-party partners, as well as a glimpse at five PlayStation VR2 titles coming later this year.
This presentation focuses on a 15-minute look at Rocksteady’s The Expendables: Kill the Justice League
Announced at DC FanDome 2020 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was originally slated for release sometime in 2022, but was pushed back to 2023.
The story follows Harley Quinn, Dead Archer, Captain Boomerang and King Shark on an “impossible mission to save the planet” and kill DC superheroes around the world. The squad was forced to take this action because the deadly explosive implanted in their heads could explode at the first sign of resistance. The original story takes place in an open-world metropolis, where four villains join forces with aliens to fight aliens on a mission to eliminate DC superheroes.
This action-adventure third-person shooter can be played solo or in online co-op with up to four players. If playing single player, you can switch characters at will, just like in multiplayer. Each squad member will have a unique set of moves, with traversal abilities, a variety of customizable weapons, and skills to master.
The game will be released on May 26 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
