Pokemon Go Community Day kicks off a dragon-like adventure on June 10

Adventure, community, day, dragonlike, June, kicks, Pokémon

Cutie Patootie Axew leads the next Pokémon Go Community Day, you can catch them next weekend, June 10th.

Dragon-type Fang Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. If you are lucky, you can catch shiny ones.

If you evolve Axew into its first evolution, Fraxure, into its final form, Haxorus, during the event or up to five hours later, the Pokemon will know the Charged Attack Breaking Swipe.

The Breaking Swipe will grant 50 Power and is guaranteed to reduce the opponent’s attack power in Trainer Battles. In Gyms and Raids, it will have 35 Strength.

There will also be a community day special research story called “Staying Sharp”.

As with all Community Day special studies, you will need a $1 ticket.

Other Pokemon events this month include the Find Gold Research Day on June 3. Event-themed field research tasks are offered when you spin the photo disc at PokeStops. Complete them to meet featured Pokémon Caterpillar, Magikarp, Nosepass, Sableye and Barboach.

Running from 2pm to 5pm local time, PokeStops may turn golden without the Golden Lure module, but the Roaming Form Gimmighoul will not appear at the Golden PokeStops without the Golden Lure module. You can still find Gimmighoul coins when you spin the PokeStop.

If you’re interested in a Pokémon that appears, there’s a $1 exclusive ticket to a limited-time research event that day. This limited time research will challenge you to complete field research quests to encounter more featured Pokemon, the research ends the next day so be sure to complete it unless you want to waste $1.

Water Festival: Beach Week runs June 6-12, and for $5, you’ll get access to event-exclusive Timed Research. Complete research quests to earn your avatar a surfer pose and encounter event-themed Pokemon. Also, this time-limited study will expire on Monday, June 12th and will disappear.

During this time, Sand Heap Pokemon Sandygast and Sand Castle Pokemon Palossand will make their Pokemon Go debuts, and Global Challenges will be held throughout the event. You’ll team up with trainers around the world to roll 300 million Nice Throws, unlocking bonuses for all trainers to enjoy for the remainder of the campaign.

If you’re level 31 or above, you’ll also get more candy for Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws, and a better chance of getting Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws.

One of the Field Research quest encounters has Lapras wearing a blue ribbon around his neck, and the Pokémon can also be caught in 3-star raids. The Spotlight Hour on June 6 will feature more than one Pokémon. Basically Crab Pokémon.

Five-star raids will feature region-specific Pokemon. The Asia-Pacific region is from Kesi, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India are monsters, and the five-star copies of America and Greenland are Azelf.

Hopefully some of your Pokemon Go friends in these areas will invite you to a raid. That’s great for them, so make sure you have an expensive Ranged Raid pass handy, and make sure to return the favor.

June is sure to have more content as the new season of Hidden Gems kicks off. We’ll keep our eyes open for you.
