Pokemon Go Players will want to mark space on their calendars for June 4 and June 5, as that’s when this year’s Pokemon Go Fest takes place.
The two-day global event will take place on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, with the bonus final on Saturday, August 27th.
For those who prefer to do Pokemoning in person, Pokemon Go Fest will also be hosting live events in Germany, the US and Japan during July and August.
Live events will be held July 1-3 in Berlin, Germany; July 22-24 in Seattle, Washington; and August 5-7 in Sapporo, Japan.
It’s been nearly three years since Pokemon Go Fest 2019 took place in Dortmund, Chicago and Yokohama, and people around the globe are enjoying the day remotely with a variety of missions and fun surprises.
Last year, the Pokemon Go Fest took place July 17-18, featuring Hourly Habitats, Hourly Raids, Pokemon in special costumes, music-related Pokemon, and saw the debut of new shiny versions, and Cooperation of ticket holders on the global challenge arena.
There are collection challenges to complete, an extra 10K XP during raids, players can earn 10 raid passes by spinning the disc, there are timed research, free event packs in the store, event-exclusive field research missions, special map visuals, and more Wait.
Niantic hasn’t shared any information about this year’s event, but we’ll be sure to let you know what to expect once word gets out.
