Niantic will host a Pokemon Go April’s Community Day Classic featuring Mudkip.
This event is different from Stuful Community Day on April 23rd.
The Mudkip Community Day Classic will go live on April 10th from 2pm to 5pm local time.
During this time, Mudkip will appear in the wild more often, and you might even come across a shiny one. If you evolve Mudkip’s Evolution Marshtomp during the event or up to two hours after the event, you’ll get a Swampert that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
There will be a Community Day exclusive special research story revolving around Mudkip, which will set you back $1 or your local currency. Additionally, there will be a special one-time purchase Community Day Box for 850 PokeCoins, which contains 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinap Berries, 1 Elite Fast TM and 1 Remote Raid Pass. The store will be offering a bundle of 30 Ultra Balls for free during the event.
As far as bonuses go, you can look forward to 3x Catch XP, three hours of incense and bait mods, and surprise photo bombs when you snap a snap.
Aside from two Community Days, April was a busy month for Pokemon Go players.
There will be an April Fool’s Day event on Friday, April 1; an All-Rocket Retreat will be held April 3-17 with more Rockets characters; “Spring into Spring” themed event begins April 12 , which runs until April 18; and finally, Sustainability Week will run from April 20 to 25, during which players can look forward to the debut of another Pokemon originally found in the Alora region.
Now, until April 5th, Tapu Lele will appear in the Five Star Raid, followed by Therian Forme Thundurus on April 12th. On April 26, Tapu Bulu will enter the 5-star raid, and on May 3, Therian Forme Landorus will be ready to be defeated by you.
During the Raid Hour on Wednesday, you can look forward to Therian Forme Thundurus on April 6, Tapu Bulu on April 13 and April 20, and Therian Forme Landorus on April 27.
Additionally, a new Adventure Sync widget will be available for Android devices in early April. Already available for iOS, when you enable Adventure Sync, you have the option to add a widget to your device’s home screen to track your progress as eggs hatch.
