The health crisis is still not over, and yet very few things have happened on Pokémon GO. What will happen this week
- Until May 15 at 1 p.m., you have 9 sets of 3 quests to accomplish which will make it possible to recover a lot of super interesting things. We will come back to this one by one in a moment! At the end of your 9 quest lines, you win a meeting with an iconic Legendary: Ho-Oh and his exclusive attack Earthquake.
- A bunch of second generation Pokémon appear more often in nature. Among those there are many who can be either Shiny (Note that Insolourdo has just unlocked its chromatic version with this event) or interesting in Raids or PVP. We will come back to it. And for collectors, a Pikachu with a Noctali beanie replaces the one with the Charizard cap!
- 9 Pokémon species appear more often in 7 km eggs. Remember that because of the current pandemic, the 7 km eggs only take 3.5 km to hatch! Among them, we note the presence of some rare and / or very useful species like Airmure, Yanma or Scorplane.
- The list is a bit long, but be aware that Johto's Pokémon are also invading the raids ! We recommend the site Leek duck which permanently lists all the raid bosses currently in play. Here, don't forget the recent arrival of remote raid passes ! We explain everything in a full article around this question.
- The Star dust of capture and raids is multiplied by 2.

Our advice and tips
- Obviously, you have to take full advantage of the Star Dust gains boost. Last week, we already advised you to keep all your rewards aside field studies in order to multiply your number of catches, therefore of Dust. It can be really interesting to do the same thing this week, to use a piece of star and claim all of your rewards at once. This allows you to chain the captures during the half hour of boost. You can even do it from home! Remember that already evolved Pokémon are getting bigger!
- We were talking to you at the beginning of the article about Most useful Pokémon to capture. Now is the time to come back to it by listing the best 2nd generation Pokémon in PVP. Meganium is a good Pokémon in Super and Hyper League, Typhlosion is playable in Hyper League, Airmure is good in Super and Hyper Leagues and Noarfang is not bad in Super League. But above all, capture Marill. Azumarill is probably the best Super League Pokémon!
- For eggs, the regulars already know our famous "sock technique". For others, we let you discover it! That being said, don't spend too much time on it, they are not that interesting and you already have a lot to do.
- Finally, it has nothing to do with the current event but remember that at the moment there is Alternative form of Giratina right now in 5 star raids. It is an extremely powerful Pokémon both in PVP and in Raids, so do not miss it. Do not hesitate to consult our capture guide !
