Next Pokemon Go Community Day will be held over the weekend of December 17-18 so you can catch up Pokemon featured in previous Community Days.
The weekend will see 2021 and 2022 featured Pokemon appear more frequently in the wild and in timed studies. Pokémon throughout the 2021 Community Day event will hatch from eggs and appear in raids and timed studies.
The December community will run from 2pm to 5pm local time on two days and will offer the following rewards: 2× XP, candy and stardust for catching; 1/2 hatching distance; trainers level 31 and above 2x chance to get XL Candies; Lure Modules will last for three hours; Incenses (excluding Daily Expeditions Incenses) will last for three hours; One additional special deal is available and trades made during the event will Reduces Stardust by 50%.
These bonuses will be valid from 9am to 9pm local time on both days.
Each event day will feature a different Pokemon that will appear at the same rate as the original Community Day. Any featured Pokemon may appear on Saturday or Sunday from 9am to 9pm local time.
The following Pokémon will be available on Saturday, December 17th: Gerbil, Alola Gerbil, Alola Gopher, Hoppip, Spheal, and Stufful.
These Pokemon will be unveiled on Sunday, December 18: Teddiursa, Galarian Zigzagoon, Starly, Roggenrola, Litwick and Deino.
You might also encounter frogseeds, rat-tailed lizards or mud-leaping frogs during these two days.
For those who prefer raids, you’ll find Machop, Eevee, Roselia, Swablu, Duskull, Shinx, Gible, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and Fletchling in one-star raids.
2km Eggs will feature Pokémon from the 2021 Community Day event. So put some eggs in the incubator to hatch Machop, Eevee, Swablu, Duskull, Shinx, Budew, Gible, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott and Fletchling.
Some Pokémon that fully evolve over the weekend will have signature attacks. Ursaring, the evolution of Teddiursa will be exceptional. In order to get Ursaluna who knows the Charged Attack High Horsepower, you need to evolve it during the full moon of the corresponding day. The full moon will be in the sky from 2pm on Saturday to 6am on Sunday and from 2pm to 9pm on Sunday.
A Community Day Special Research Story will be available in the store for $1 or your region’s equivalent, and there will be timed Research encounters with Pokémon featured in previous Community Days.
You’ll be able to earn 2022 Community Day stickers by spinning PokeStops, opening gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game store.
