Pokemon Go Players will soon be able to participate in the Evolving Stars event, which starts next week and runs from October 5th to 11th.
Season of Light has launched the Pokemon Cosmog, and now its evolutionary Cosmoem, the Protostar Pokemon, is coming to the game.
In addition to the new Pokemon Evolution, you can look forward to field research focused on evolution and four collection challenges that reward evolution items.
Season of Light is a continuation of Cosmog’s story, an event that will kick off a special research that, when complete, will take you on another adventure with Cosmog.
You’ll be able to evolve a Cosmog into a Cosmoem by using 25 Cosmog Candies, and have a chance to meet more Cosmogs in the distant future. So if you only have one Cosmog, go ahead and develop it.
During the event, you can look forward to Super Tyrannosaurus Raid Day on Saturday, October 8th. On this day, you can earn up to five additional Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Disc in the gym, and your chances of encountering the Shiny Tyrannosaurus will increase.
The Evolution Star event will also see the following Pokemon appear more in the wild: Kakuna, Slowpoke, Pidgeotto, Drowzee, Poliwhirl, Natu, Kadabra, Ralts, Haunter, Spoink, Rhyhorn, Munna, Seadra, Woobat, Scyther, Gothita, Eevee, Solosis, Swinub, Elgyem, Ralts, Duskull, Tynamo and Litwick. Some may even be shiny.
In raids, you can expect Obtuse, Onix, Scyther, Porygon, and Sunken in one-star raids. The three star raid will feature Magneton, Rhydon, Togetic and Piloswine.
Currently appearing in Five Star Raid is Eveltal, and the Pokemon will be active until October 8th. After that, the gorgeous Xerneas will appear until October 20th.
Mega Lopunny will be in Mega Raid until October 8th, when it will be replaced by Mega Manectric by October 20th.
Have fun and make sure to fight as many Xerneas as you can to get shiny.
