Clash of the Rebels, the next expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, is just around the corner. On May 1st, the new starter decks and boosters will appear, which in addition to 16 Pokémon V and seven Pokémon VMAX cards will also introduce more than 15 new trainer cards, four of them in full screen. We can already exclusively reveal one of them.
Sania, Professor Magnolica's red-haired grandchild, plays an important role in Pokémon sword and shield and also assists coaches in card games. This support card allows the player to search the deck for up to two basic Pokémon or up to two basic energies and take it in hand. A good opportunity to top up your own hand and provide active Pokémon with energy. You can only see a picture of the full art card below.
Sword & Shield: Clash of the Rebels includes the following new additions:
- 16 Pokémon-V like Riffex-V, Zwollock-V, Bellektro-V and Sanaconda-V, plus 14 full-screen Pokémon-V
- Seven Pokémon-VMAX, including the latest developments from the first three partner Pokémon from Galar as well as Patinaraja-VMAX and Katapuldra-VMAX
- More than 15 trainer cards and 4 full-screen support cards
- Four new special energy cards
Usually, pre-release tournaments are always held on this occasion, where the new cards can already be integrated into a deck and tried out immediately. Due to the corona pandemic, however, the Pokémon Championship series 2020 was canceled.
