The popular Truecaller app is now also available for the Galaxy Watch.
The app is one of the most popular call identification apps and is available for Android and iOS devices. It shows users the names of callers and other information. This makes it easier to identify spam calls.
Previously the app was only available for smartphones. Now the manufacturers have announced that Truecaller is now also available on the Galaxy Watch. The app has been downloaded over a billion times and has a rating of 4.4 stars.

Can the app be installed on any Galaxy Watch?
No. The watch only works with Wear OS 3 or higher. It is also important that the app is installed on both the watch and the paired smartphone. According to the manufacturer, the app must also be stored as the default app on the watch. Otherwise it may happen that some functions do not work smoothly.

Why even have a spam protection app on your smartwatch? One application of smartwatches is answering calls when the cell phone is out of range – e.g. B. when doing sports, shopping or when your hands are not free. Anyone who decides to use an app to combat spam probably wants to be informed even if they answer a call via their watch and not their cell phone.
