The popular fitness tracker Smart Band 8 from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will soon receive a comprehensive update. Version 1.6.222 of the HyperOS operating system is intended to bring useful features for personalization and increased productivity.
According to the news portal Gizmochina With the latest update, you can now use “Focus Notifications” on your Smart Band 8 for the first time. This feature, originally introduced with the Smart Band 8 Pro, allows you to specify exactly which notifications are displayed on your smart bracelet. This should help you minimize distractions and focus better on your tasks.
The update brings more watch faces and stability
With Hyper OS 1.6.222, you can select paid watch faces for your Smart Band 8 for the first time, which gives you more options for personalization. Xiaomi also promises that the update has fixed various known issues to improve the overall performance and stability of the Smart Band 8.
The update has recently become available for devices in China. It is not yet known when Hyper OS 1.6.222 will be released for international devices.
