If you want to catch up on Port Royale 4 on one of the new consoles, you now have the opportunity to do so. A corresponding implementation has now been announced and will be published soon.
In a press release, publisher Kalypso Media and developer Gaming Minds have now confirmed that Port Royale 4 will now also land on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. The Caribbean trading simulation will not be long in coming on the next-gen platforms.
This implementation should therefore be available for the platforms mentioned as early as September 10, 2021. You can look forward to improved graphics including 4K resolution, optimized performance as well as cross-gene functionalities and improved light and weather simulation.
While the Full HD 1080p resolution is used on the Xbox Series S, you can expect real 4K on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Thanks to Ectzeit cloud rendering, this game version should offer an extremely detailed trading experience.
The release is planned as both a standard and an extended edition. The latter also includes exclusive digital content such as four lighthouses and the blueprints for five decorative parks. Thanks to cross-gen savegames, saved games can be taken over from the previous console version.
The current Port Royale 4 will soon make the leap to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with new graphics.
