Postbank down: Online banking and ATMs will not be available to you for that long

Are you at Postbank, but you can’t log in at the moment or online banking isn’t working? You are not alone in this. The services are not available to you until then.

Since 5:40 p.m., we have been registering an above-average number of reports of problems with login and online banking in our Postbank fault reporter.

A tweet shows that different error messages are displayed, sometimes something about a “redirection error” can be read, sometimes “it might not work because of cookies”.

Service available again on January 2nd

The reason for this is a system change. Like on the Postbank’s website can be read, where it says: “Due to the announced system changes at the turn of the year, the service will not be available to you from December 30, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to January 2, 2023, around 2:00 p.m.”. Due to the system changeover, the bank’s ATMs will also not work over the holidays. However, the Postbank points out that you can also use your card to withdraw free of charge from Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank and HypoVereinsbank.
