The daily updates for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord go into the next round: Patches 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 once again bring numerous fixes for various crashes, fix bugs and improve the battles and siege battles. However, numerous new companions also find their way into the game – and one of them is a real fighting machine.
New Companion is the perfect bodyguard
With patch 1.0.7, developer Taleworlds Entertainment has fixed a bug that only made companions of the Sturgian culture appear. As a result of the newly added companions of the other cultures, they are now total 67 different types to find the randomly generated walkers in the game.
Particularly powerful: Should you find a hiker with the title "The Swordsman", you should definitely hire him, because this companion is the perfect bodyguard.
In any case, his abilities and skills make all other companions look old:
- Melee: 270 points each in one-handed and two-handed weapons as well as polearms
- Ranged combat: 225 points in bows and 180 points each in crossbow and throwing weapons
- agility: 180 points each in riding and athletics
Contrary to his name, he is not only the "sword man", but also the "polearm man", "bow man" and "crossbow man" – a true all-purpose weapon. In any case, the first players to hire this companion seem enthusiastic. How OriginalKayos writes on Reddit:
"He is a damn monster, I found him in Charas in my Vladian Merc campaign. He is like the T-1000 terminator, he tears through enemies and when they escape, he keeps up with horses on foot Guy has earned his place as a bodyguard. "
Reddit user Cardus525 is also visibly impressed:
"I met a Swordsman and my jaw dropped when I saw his stats."
It remains to be seen whether the powerful Terminator companion will still be generated by the developers. In any case, it would be conceivable that the developers overwhelming statistics distribute the Swordman to other new companions and thus supply specialists for every branch of arms.
