PowerWash Simulator is coming to PlayStation and Switch, with free Tomb Raider DLC

PowerWash Simulator is just what it sounds like, letting you deep clean your vehicle and home, satisfyingly being the best PowerWasher ever. It’s certainly a niche game, but it’s one of the better quality sims out there, and it’s surprisingly relaxing. No wonder it’s considered a great podcast game.

Announced by publisher Square Enix PowerWash Simulator Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch January 31st. so more people can get involved and learn what powerwashing really is all about and why the community loves it so much.

What about cross-play and these new platforms? Well, the good news is that players on Windows, Steam, and Xbox will all be able to play cross-platform. Unfortunately, players on PlayStation and Switch won’t be able to cross-play with other platforms.

If the lack of cross-play puts you off, don’t worry, because FuturLab and Square Enix have more good news to share. Square Enix also revealed PowerWash Simulator’s free Tomb Raider DLC, which is also arriving on January 31. The DLC will add one of the most iconic gaming locations in history to the sim, Croft Manor. That’s right, you’ll be cleaning Lara Croft’s home and vehicle in no time.

Of course, you probably won’t see Lara Croft, and there’s no doubt she’s having an adventure somewhere. However, it is your responsibility to make sure her home is in tip-top shape before she returns to host a fundraiser (via FuturLab).

The Tomb Raider DLC will be free to anyone who buys a copy of PowerWash Simulator, and will include a mini-campaign and five new levels for you to complete.
