Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launched in January – and now the first fresh content is available. Ubisoft announced three free updates as well as a large story DLC.
Shortly after the release of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Ubisoft had already made it clear via social media that they were far from finished with the title and wanted to deliver a lot more content. Today we were getting down to business when it came to plans for the current year 2024. There will be new content, game modes and challenges as part of three larger, free updates. In addition, a comprehensive story DLC is also planned.
The first content drop will take place next week, namely on March 20, 2024. Under the name “Warrior’s Path” you will then receive a speedrun mode, as well as a permadeath mode and four new outfits for Sargon. This content will be free for all base game owners and marks the start of a total of three free such contents.
Later in the year, “Boss Attack” and “Divine Trials” are also planned as free updates, each of which will bring a boss marathon challenge and new outfits for Sargon. There will also be new combat, platforming and puzzle challenges as well as new amulets and more.
Apart from these free offers, there will be a large paid DLC later in 2024. This additional story content should then keep you busy with “several hours of content”. This includes, for example, a new plot, but also new environments and opponents. In short: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown shouldn’t get boring so quickly.
The title from Ubisoft is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna and PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store).
