If you want free PS4 and PS5 games on a regular basis, a PlayStation Plus subscription might be worth it. Sony unlocks new free games every month, including in December.
The Japanese publisher was due to unveil December’s free games on November 30, probably around 5:30 p.m. in the evening. Sony almost always announces the new free games on the last Wednesday of the month.
The free games were already leaked before the announcement. According to billbil-kun, a user of French bargain website Dealabs, you will get the following games in December:
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4)
- Biomutant (PS4, PS5)
- Divine Knockout (PS4, PS5)
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes the Mass Effect sci-fi trilogy consisting of parts one through three. In a way, you get five games for free in December.
Dealabs has often leaked PS Plus games ahead of their reveal and the predictions have almost always been correct. You can strongly assume that Sony will really offer these titles for free.
When will you get the PS Plus December games
Like the reveal of the games, the timing of their release is almost “carved” into the calendar. Sony releases the free games on the first Tuesday of every month. That means you can get the games for PS4 and PS5 for free from December 6th.
