Sony has confirmed that the July PlayStation Plus Essentials games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake: Remastered, and Infinity: Extinction Forever.
The game’s content was confirmed earlier today after leaker Billbilkun of Dealabs with a proven track record revealed the game’s content.
the first to appear is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, considered by many in the longtime Call of Duty fanbase to be a decent entry in the franchise’s history. It’s coming to both PS4 and PS5, and features one of the best campaigns in recent memory, as well as a decent multiplayer FPS experience that’s sure to breathe some life into it thanks to its presence on PS+. .
next is Alan Wake: Remastered Edition, a top-to-bottom visual upgrade of horror classics. With Alan Wake 2 launching later this year, there’s never been a better time to actually go back to the original and get an update on everyone’s favorite video game weirdo novelist. This is truly the pinnacle of horror games, back when the genre was struggling, and even with the plethora of newer horror games out there now, it still holds up pretty well.
at last, The End: Extinction Is Forever is the wildcard here. An indie survival adventure game that puts you in the role of a fox traveling across a ravaged wilderness. There’s an obvious message here about our impact on the world around us, but packaged in a small game with great quality behind it. Worth a download if you’re a PS Plus subscriber.
All games will be live on July 4th.
What do you think of this lineup? For me, it has to be Alan Wake: Remake. I’ve been meaning to get back into Allen’s stance, and with the game coming to PS Plus, July seems like the perfect time. Let us know your options below!
