On the evening of March 18th, Sony's system architect Mark Cerny revealed more information about the PS5 hardware in a live broadcast. You can watch the video above.

Technical data for PS5

Mark Cerny's focus in his presentation was an 825 GB SSD, which should make Sony's PlayStation 5 boot faster, stream faster, and require almost no screen loading.

If your memory is too small, you can connect an external hard drive or even install another M.2 format SSD. Sony plans to announce models suitable for installation in the future.

PS5 immersive sound

Cerny also talked about music and sound. With "3D Audio", PS5 should give you a more immersive experience. Virtual reality games should especially spell you. 3D audio is being optimized for headphones and Sony is developing a sound system called "virtual surround sound" for TV speakers.

Unfortunately, Japanese publishers still haven't shown the design of the console. Sony did not disclose the release date of the PS5, and the price is not clear. The global gaming industry believes that Sony will fully launch the PS5 in the near future.
