Gaming News PS5: The PS VR 2 broken down into videos and she’s got it in her stomach!
It will be released very soon and we had to expect inevitably that Sony will continue to accentuate its communication: the PlayStation VR 2 and its famous virtual reality are now at the gates of the PS5 for a multitude of passionate or just curious users. The latter will therefore be delighted to learn of the existence of these two videos.
Unpack the house
Remember: even before the release of the PlayStation 5, Sony had released a video in which one of its engineers disassembled the console’s face camera and showed its innards point by point. A way to better understand the operation and architecture and prepare for potential exploration upstream.
So history repeats itself for the PlayStation VR 2, the brand new virtual reality headset for the PS5. Sony recently released a real unboxing – enough to make impatient fans salivate – and today, A new, much more technical video ventures inside the beast. The expedition is led by Takamasa Arali of the Mechanical Design Team.
point by point, screw by screw, it thus dissects the PSVR 2 in front of the lens and allows us a better technological overview, with the ergonomic headband, the lens module and countless physical parts and other computer components.
On the other hand, be careful (and it’s Sony asking for it): don’t do this at home.

Sony at the top
To go even further Sony has released a second video, pretty much in the same genre and this time focusing on the PlayStation VR2 controllers. These bear the sweet name Sense Controllers and will take some of the technologies from the traditional PS5 controller DualSense, such as with adaptive triggers and haptic vibrations. In particular, they will be equipped with laser sensors to detect all the user’s fingers. This video is directed by another person, Takeshi Igarashi, from the Peripheral Design team.
We remind you that PSVR 2 will be available in stores on February 22, 2023 at a price of 599.99 dollars and will only work if you have the PlayStation 5. Several major titles are expected such as Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil Village or a new The Walking Dead.
