So much has happened in just one year since we lit up landmarks and other iconic locations around the world to celebrate the arrival of the PS5. Incredible games like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal and Deathloop have been released. Sony Interactive Entertainment has acquired the talented development studios Bluepoint Games, Firesprite, Housemarque and Nixxes. We also unveiled our next generation virtual reality system for the PS5 and recently unveiled exciting new footage and updates for upcoming titles like God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West. , all from PlayStation Studios and also announced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake during our September presentation.
After a quick look in the rear-view mirror, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment used this speaking time to outline the future of the PS5.
With the PS5, it is only just beginning for us. The resourceful game makers and publishing partners we work with have released over 360 games for PS5. In addition, over 25 games for the PS5 are currently being developed in PlayStation Studios.
